RYA Training Centre

 

Welcome to Datchet Water Sailing Club, the Inland Sea near London. With our large water and excellent facilities we offer the best solutions for learning to sail in a fun and friendly environment, with an excellent range of courses for all ages (8+) and abilities. Datchet Water Sailing Club is a fully accredited RYA Training Centre with Multihull, Dinghy and Powerboating Courses for people of all ages (8+) along with activity and corporate days for a wide range of different organisations.

 

Using a team of RYA qualified and experienced instructors and the wide range of boats we have available, we offer courses under the RYA syllabus.

 

Our Water

 

The sailing water is 475 acres or over 1 mile (almost 2 km) in diameter - making it one of the largest inland areas in Southern England. With over 300 meters of beach area all over looked by Windsor Castle and the Great Park make Datchet a stunning venue to undertake a training course.

 

Our Facilities

 

The club has everything required onsite. We have a vartiey of wet and dry training areas, fitted with AV equipment where coaches can bring their students direct from the water and debrief, show videos etc. We also provide a full range of sailing kit/equipment for all students. Our changing rooms are modern and spacious.
